Job description

We are looking for an experienced Solar PV Installer to join our team, working on a range of solar installation projects. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar PV systems, ensuring each project meets our high standards for safety and performance. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in solar installations, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to advancing the renewable energy sector.

Key Reponsibilitys

Installing and commissioning solar PV systems on rooftops and ground mounts for residential and commercial projects. Conducting site assessments, including measuring, layout planning, and evaluating roof structures. Ensuring all work is carried out to meet industry standards and company quality requirements. Testing and troubleshooting solar systems to ensure efficient operation. Collaborating with team members and site supervisors to ensure project timelines are met. Adhering to health and safety guidelines, including working at heights safely and responsibly.

Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in solar PV installation is essential, with a track record of successful residential or commercial installations. Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations, 18th Edition, or equivalent; Solar PV qualifications (e.g., MCS certification) are highly advantageous. Skills: Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret electrical plans. Physical Fitness: Capability to work at heights and perform manual tasks, including carrying and lifting solar equipment. Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence is required. Teamwork: Good communication skills and a positive attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients.
